Yay!  That's great!  This group is so great! On the whole, 99.9% of the ladies on here are so wonderful and helpful to one another! We allow each other to vent, offer advice when we can, and band together in the ultimate battle of the ages.

Dealing with difficult MIL's (and other in-laws) isn't a new problem, but it seems that only within the last 20 years has it been acceptable to really speak about it to others.  In the past, women were supposed to pretty much "shut up and put up".  Nowadays, people are less afraid to stand up for their rights to be treated with some measure of respect.

It's deplorable how rude, pushy and downright cruel some MIL's can be, and this forum is such a great place to get it all off our chests. Clearly, the fact that membership is up so high is a testament to both the need for such a place to exist as well as to how great this PARTICULAR place is!

Kudos on creating such a great space for us, and may we all continue to march forward in friendship, commraderie and that common bond we all seem to share here in the forum!
