I love it. Im into embroidery. What do you do to de-stress?

A neat craft is also very easy and functional. I made a bunch of these for one of my classes (I have gone back to school for my Masters-God help me) to suck up. It is those flowerpot pen holders you see. All you need are small clay flowerpots, some paints and a small brush, stickers, etc. for the design on the flowerpot, some white pinto beans for in the flowerpot so the pens can stick up, some pens of course, some black electrical tape, and some cheap flowers for the pens. First you need to do you design on the outside of the pot- I painted everyones name on the pot and some design stuff which really impressed them. While that is drying, tape the flowers on the end of the pens so that it looks like the pen is the stem. I use electrical tape so it cleans off quickly. Put the beans in the pot, stick the pens in it, and you have a functional, and colorful, little fake flower garden for your, or their, desks. Really seems to impress people if that is what you are into, or not.

Oh yeh, make sure that the flowers are fake, otherwise you might have a problem after a few days.

Ok here is my favorite for christmas. take three or four candy canes and a taper candle. hot glue the candle to the upside down candy canes. Turn them into a candle holder. Add fake pointsettas or other deco. Viola, set two on the table. Light for christmas dinner.

that great! i love makeing signs for my house. I have bought two but had to paint it over so it matches (i love my sign it says :sit, relax, gossip) but just get a 1x4 piece of cheap pine that is aobut 2-3 feet long and paint over it with crackle paint and stencil what ever you want it to say on it. it great and way cheaper than buying one! of corse i thought of it after i bought two. figures right!
