Anyone know how to knit?

Im really 'bout some knitting right now (well as much as you can be without knowing how to actually do it)
Anyone know how to knit? What about crocheting? Which one is easier to learn.
Man I wish I had learned earlier so that I could make everyone socks for Christmas. Icon_lol

RE: Anyone know how to knit?

I taught myself how to crochet when I was pregnant with my second child and picked it up very easily.  I bought a video on how to knit, but I found crocheting much easier and have made 10 blankets so far.

Maybe ill look into that then. Im not so good in a "class like" enviorment. Better when Its me learning by myself and teaching myself.

RE: Anyone know how to knit?

I know how to crochet.  For me, it's easier than knitting  bec crochet needs one hook only. I tried many times to knit, but i couldn't get the idea. And if you  made a mistake,  you can easily undo it. You know what I did? ( excuse me, I am not bragging) I searched for crochet sites on the internet and found many. I crocheted lots of small projects: I only followed the instructions for each piece. Tha's how I really learned how to crochet. So you can do the same, Isabella

HA! We turned our dining room into my "office" (office to me meaning no computer but a comfy chair, my craftyness and my cat) And I have now embarked on knitting

RE: Anyone know how to knit?

I recently took up crocheting.  My friend and his wife are adopting a baby and I wanted to give them something special.  So I decided that I would crochet them a blanket.  I heart it.  It's fun!  I really want to learn to knit but it looks so hard.

RE: Anyone know how to knit?

I don't know how to knit or crochet, but I love to decorate! I also enjoy drawing and painting pictures, that's how I relax.
