RE: Christmas HELP!

How about calling up your friends and having all of you meet at a Denny's or other breakfast place? Leave the location a "secret surprise" for hubby, so he doesn't accidently blab about it to the inlaws.  Then, meet your friends so that you aren't even home when the in-laws arrive.  If that doesn't give them the hint, nothing will!  That should curtail them inviting themselves next year so that you can actually have that nice, quiet breakfast with your friends that you wanted!  I'm sure your friends will suffer with a diner just this once in order to have the payoff of that nice tradition in years to follow.

RE: Christmas HELP!

Actually, Christmas went okay... not too bad
I don't think they will invite themselves over for breakfast again though
They weren't big fans of the "healthy breakfast: :o) we were laughing that they probably hit up some McD's on the way home b/c they didn't eat hardly anything!
I put my foot down for the rest of the day so I got to see my family and see my neice rip open some presents and we were back in our house relaxing before 2pm...
How was everyone else's holiday?
