MIL told me I was fat, okay I had a baby and I'm not back to the same size I was before the baby, but I'm almost there. Like two sizes away.
But she has no room to say anything about being fat, because she is bigger than I am. So what is up with her calling me a fat faced or fat A**.
If I can serve my husband being at War I can deal with a MIL, proud to be a society member!

Do you know others who need to be in the Society? Ask them to Join! Use the easy "tell a friend" feature!

Marinewife, your MIL sounds like a real piece of work. It doesn't matter what size you are, as long as your DH loves it.

cause MILs are jellious... they have to put U down to make them selves feel better.

i agree with hated_dil
you most likely thinner and more beautiful than she and now you have givin birth to her sons baby which makes you look a million times more beautiful in his eyes because of it! let her know. just say "yeah, Im not as thin as i was before the baby and at first i was a little self coinsence but for some reason xxxx(your husband) cant get enough of me." This simple comment will put her in her place real fast!
you never know which direction SHE is coming from so keep up your defence!

It's so ironic isn't it?
my mother in law is big.
she always feels insecure about her looks although i have always complimented her with her colour of tops that suit her. and i meant it then before my haterate took over me from her moans and growns!
If i was fat? she would say something.
If i am thin? she finds something else to say.
just to disagree with us!
