I don't think she has actual mental health problems.... I think its hereditary; GMIL is the same way. DH was catching onto the 20 questions game over the weekend so he started playing along with it; I'm not sure how I kept a straight face but I managed to hold in my laughter

Hah Ha! Icon_lol

Toungue RE: Is 'Jealousy' the driving factor with troublesome MILs

haha that is too funny, same here.. i bought my very first car when i was 23 (my family is not rich at all, and b4 when i went to school i took the bus)...the inlaws had a perfectly fine running vehicle, 3 months later my MIL spends her inheritance money on a brand new expensive SUV that she was scared to drive, then at every opportunity in our sights, SIL and MIL croon over the SUV like it was a cute puppy or somethin, greatest thing on earth,..strange bunch they are.....
i dont have a PHD and would like to go back to school after the kids are a bit older, MIL and other inlaws sure like to rub that in my face though -  that I dont have 1/2 decade of higher education (i do have college though)..funny ,... their youngest just finished HS and applied to university and was REJECTED!, how about that feather in their hats huh?!?! yes sirree   they are gods gift to this world !
oh yeah we recently bought a new house too, they never comment on how nice it is and SIL is avoiding coming over at all costs cause she is sooooo jealous ( and thats fine, i am enjoying her staying away!)
the BIL dumped his GF in the rudest manner after her car broke down and they went car shopping and she didnt buy the most expensive flashiest thing...yes, she couldnt afford it and i guess that was too much of an embarassment to them!

the whole family looks at things and people like they have big price tags on them, the bigger the better...i never came with a big enough price tag i guess, but hey now i do pretty damn good for myself and have climbed that government ladder and am looking at a promotion soon to a even better position at work..it really irks them

You know that does make sense; that would explain why every time I buy something; she buys the same thing only bigger and more expensive why she calles non stop seeing what we're doing and where we are and who we're with..... why she brings people to our house when her house is twice as nice only ours is "new" and the only reason why she didn't go out and get the bigger more expensive house is b/c hers wouldn't sell....
Why didn't I think of that one?
