Ladies I live with my MIL! There can't be two Queens in one House!

Ladies, True Story..... in my culture to show respect I have to live with my Husband's family and like become the woman of the household...He has 4 brothers and 2 sisters, and every body still live at home.  My MIL has been driving me up the wall...I feel like I have completely lost my mind...Where to begin, My Hubby and I won 4 tickets to the Bahamas...he decided to give his parents 2 tickets to go 1 year before our wedding date...and they had decided to not go and wait until we went on our Honeymoon. So that's how it all started....4 days and 3 nights in Free port, Grand Bahamas with my MIL & FIL....it was a total nightmare.... she was at our hotel room every morning and calling us at night every night....every meal, every picture, everywhere there she was, watching me, studying me, criticizing my every move....oh sure in the 1st month of living with them, she was polite and she didn't mind that on weekends i slept on till 10 a.m. but her true colors slowly reveal itself day by day...and now i it's been 9 months of madness, i had high blood pressure, just the thought of her gave me migraines....but now i know how she plays her dirty games...and she's good at playing her games...she's the perfect MIL when my hubby is around but when he's not oh she sure knows how to push my buttons...my Hubby is such a mama's boy he thinks that I am the one who is mean to her and not giving her a chance to me my friend.... it's bad enough that i have to listen to her kungfu mouth rant all day, my bedroom is the one next to hers....ARGHHH! well this is it for now...oh but trust me there will be more True Stories!

This is why it's a bad idea to live under the same roof with a MIL.

Just say NO!!!

I agree...see if you can move. If you can't, see about maybe building a separate addition onto the house so you can have a bit more privacy....

Wow! I would hate to be in that situation...your DH has to defend you and realize that you two are a package deal now. It's not all about his Mom...he needs to make sure that you are secure and confident in your marriage or else you will just begin to resent him and his mom.
