Wink Our Upcoming Wedding

Well, I wanted to post some somewhat GOOD news for a change! Icon_cool My Aussie and I are planning our wedding for next month, and I FINALLY heard back from my evil monster in law. She said she'd been avoiding me because she was busy being "selfishly sad".  Well, duh! I already knew that! LOL!  Then she made some comment that it seemed our wedding plans were all organized (read: "I can't believe you did that without consulting me on every detail like the wedding that I tried to hijack on you!").  I just had a real chuckle to myself to realize that it is dawning on her that she screwed up and is paying the price by not being involved in our wedding plans.  She suggested she'd like to help on the day, but strangely enough, I haven't written her back with anything I'd like her to help with. They are making flight arrangements (or so I hear) and apparently want us to help with the motel arrangements. I am assuming they aren't pleased they can't stay with us (but, seriously, our tiny apartment would not fit them).

We are estatic about getting married, especially knowing it will be the way WE want it.  I am inviting the people WE want there, and keeping it intentionally small and intimate (strangely, the way I told her I wanted the one she tried to hijack and I ended up cancelling altogether because of the BS that was going on!).  Had she simply respected what we had originially wanted, it could have been done in Australia with her friends and family around.

Sorry, Bizatch!  You'll have to settle for being in the minority, and realizing we didn't ask for a single blasted thing from you for our special day!  Lesson learned I hope, and we get our special day the way we wanted it! Eusa_dance
